Very pleasant and fun as always, we come there every yr, I think the kids get their most enjoyment, playing and jumping off the hay stacks, and the ride out to the pumpkin patch, and of course eating donuts and drinking the apple cider. Very fun event for the whole family. Nice job. Thank u for being there.
There wasn't an awful lot to do. Very young children would be entertained. The band was very loud making it difficult to talk, and it sounded like all the songs were in the same key. I'm sure they're used to playing outside but the weather wasn't cooperating. The selection of apples was good, but I would have liked to be able to chose my own mix instead of a minimum quarter bushel. The hot cider was good but the donuts were a little lackluster. I was expecting a fresh warm donut. They were a little tough and chewy like it was placed in the bag still warm and cooled, making it a little rubbery. While some things left a little to be desired, the grounds are beautiful and the fall decorations very cute. All in all, not a bad way to kill a couple hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Been coming here since I was a kid. Same delicious apples, cider and donuts! Nice petting zoo area, tractor rides, and plenty of space for kids to expend some excess energy. Ample parking in the lot next to the buildings, and everything is a fairly reasonable price (for food and snacks). I'll keep bringing my kids here for years to come!
We only went for cider and donuts but thought it was great! Very pretty and organized place with indoor seating so you can still enjoy it when the weather turns. There are pumpkins to buy and farm animals to feed, plus a hayride to the actual orchard if you want to do u-pick or just explore. The cider was fantastic and somehow at the perfect drinking temperature, but the donuts were a little cool (granted we were there at 3:30pm) and I would have loved them to be hot and fresh.
The classic cider and donuts place has gotten only more popular over the years. They often have live music on the weekends, which are always a little too crowded but I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be served. Place has tractor rides and a small farm with animals. The mix of apples used in their cider is top notch and the donuts are always hot and fresh!
