This place has awesome employees, a great owner and the BEST subs around!! We have eaten here many times and have had zero issues!! The Engineer and the cheddar brisket subs are the BOMB! The chili is awesome as well. And don’t forget a brownie!! They are decadent!!
We used to love Firehouse and were excited about this location opening up. While the manager is friendly as is most staff, I won't be returning. My sub was initially made incorrectly, I apologized and asked to have it remade. The employee (he's been there awhile, and this behavior doesn't surprise me) seemed annoyed at me and did not apologize. After having waited ten minutes for the first incorrect sub, I waited and additional ten minutes for its replacement. When the same employee brought it over I thanked him and received no response besides a 'here you go'. The replacement sub was incorrect too - missing half its ingredients despite me giving him the ticket to remake it. It tasted mediocre at best. This isn't the first issue with mixed up orders but it is by far the worst. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm really disappointed as this is a place we used to enjoy.
Subs were tasty as they are at any FIrehouse Subs, but service I must say was slow. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich and there was 1 couple in front of us. With 3 workers in the restaurant, it took us 15 minutes to get our subs. For not being busy at all, we would have expected our food a bit quicker!
This is not your typical sub. Actually tastes really good. Bread is just the way it should be and a good variety of flavors. Try some level 10 hot sauce on it. Also they have this pretty sweet looking USA flag around the back of the building.
I Love Firehouse! This was my first visit to this location and it was very clean, friendly staff and although they were busy they were efficient!
